Closed areas: Booyong and Rosewood Loop Walking Tracks closed

The Booyong walking track is currently closed due to numerous tree falls.

The Rosewood Loop walking track remains closed while repairs are being made to a flood affected footbridge.

Closed areas: Mebbin National Park Campground Open with closed access to some trails

Mebbin National Park and Cutters Camp Campground - OPEN 

Some of the walking tracks and trails remain closed and undergoing roadworks due to landslips and erosion caused by the severe rainfall causing dangerous conditions during February/March 2022.

Areas that remain CLOSED until they are made safe:

  • Original section of Byrrill Creek Walking Track (closed due to severe landslip) an alternative walking track is now available.
  • Plantation Road Fire Trail (Closed with road repair works scheduled from 8 May 2023 for 3 weeks)
  • North Boundary Road Fire Trail (Closed due to severe erosion)

    $8 per vehicle per day. The park uses a self-registration fee collection system at entry. Please bring the correct change and display your receipt.
