The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be conducting aerial shooting operations for all feral animals in southern parts of Kosciuszko National Park between 7am Monday 29 June and 7pm Saturday 11 July 2026.

The following areas of Kosciuszko National Park will be closed to the public between Monday 29 June and Friday 3 July 2026:

• Byadbo Wilderness Area, including all tracks, trails and huts
• Pilot Wilderness Area, including all tracks, trails, and huts, and including the Australian Alps Walking Track (AAWT)
• Moonbah, Ingebyra and Grosses Plain areas
• Numbla Vale, Paupong, Corrowong and Merambego areas
• All visitor facilities located along Barry Way

The Barry Way will remain open to the public. View the closed area map for this period.

From Saturday 4 July to Saturday 11 July 2026, visitor facilities along the Barry Way will be open. All other areas listed above will remain closed. View the closed area map for these dates.
