Here's your chance to experience the iconic Great North walk up close.
Starting in February and finishing in November each year, our 10 full-day guided walks take you from Sydney to the Central Coast hinterland near Somersby. You’ll explore the rich cultural history and environments of northern Sydney and Hawkesbury sandstone country. Bring your camera to capture the breathtaking views.
Book 1 walk or take the Great North walk challenge and book for all 10. Further stages will be available over the coming months.
Stage 9 of the Great North walk takes you into the temperate rainforest of Brisbane Water National Park. The 16km guided tour starts at Wondabyne Station and ends at Kariong.
Sunday 25 October and Wednesday 28 October 2026, 8am to 3.15pm.
Complete the Great North walk challenge with the tenth and final leg of the series. You’ll walk 18km from Kariong to Somersby, exploring the serene waterways of Brisbane Water National Park.
Sunday 22 November and Wednesday 25 November 2026, 8am to 4pm.
