On Friday, the park is only open to school groups who have registered. Anyone can visit on the Saturday.
Take this rare opportunity to experience Narran Lake Nature Reserve at an open day. You can explore this remarkable and culturally significant landscape that’s usually closed to protect nesting birds and its unique environment.
School groups are invited on Friday 26 June and the wider community can attend on Saturday 27 June.
Across both days, you can take guided tours of the spectacular wetlands. Then, discover the rich history and culture of the area through dance and storytelling with Traditional Custodians. After the activities, relax and enjoy a free barbeque lunch.
You will need to organise accommodation and travel to and from the reserve independently.
