Camping, including caravans and motor-homes, will not be permitted in national parks from Friday 27 March 2020 until further notice.

Ground baits containing ACTA 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) will be laid along various tracks and trails in Toorale National Park and Toorale State Conservation Area from Thursday 26 March to Tuesday 26 May 2020. This is to control wild dog and fox populations.

1080 is poisonous to humans if swallowed and harmful if absorbed by the skin or inhaled. If poisoning occurs, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26. For further information please contact the NPWS Bourke area office on 02 6830 0200.
