Overview

Toorale State Conservation Area was created in November 2010. It covers an area of 54385ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.

If you're looking for a vantage point to take in the spectacular floodplain views, don't miss Mount Talowla lookout. Known by local the Kurnu-Baakandji People as Withawitha Iaana, this exceptional spot is the perfect introduction to the vast outback landscape of north-west NSW.

 

Planning for the future

The community is invited to have a say on the future of Toorale National Park and Toorale State Conservation Area by commenting on the Draft Plan of Management before 7 May 2018.

These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
