With breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour, the grounds of Strickland Estate in Sydney Harbour National Park are the ideal place to hold your wedding. Say your vows in the beautiful gardens, with 19th century Strickland House as a striking backdrop.

Fees

$760 per location for a wedding. If you serve alcohol or require vehicle access, $1060 will be charged to cover a minimum of 3 hours supervision. Additional hours will be charged at $100 per hour.

Available for hire for a maximum of 1 wedding per day. Venue not available from 22 December to 2 January or on Sundays during school holidays.

One of Sydney’s most idyllic outdoor venues, Strickland Estate near Vaucluse is the perfect place to hold your wedding.

With expansive grounds that boast spectacular harbour views, you’ll have plenty of space to mix and mingle. With 8 locations to choose from, suited from intimate gatherings up to large groups, find what suits you best and celebrate your special day surrounded by the picturesque gardens and the majestic elegance of Strickland House.

After your ceremony, you and your guests can admire the breathtaking view as you enjoy cocktails and canapes under one of the Moreton Bay fig trees. Breathe in the clean sea air and experience the peacefulness of this unique location, one of Sydney’s heritage treasures.

There’s plenty to see and do if you feel like exploring. Let loose in the sparkling waters of Milk Beach, or stretch your legs along the easy Hermitage Foreshore track. And if you and some of your wedding party would like to stay the night, it’s only a 5min drive from here to the State Heritage-listed Gardeners Cottage.

in Sydney Harbour National Park in the Sydney and surrounds region
Sydney Harbour National Park is open sunrise to sunset but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.
Park entry fees:
Bradleys Head: $8 per vehicle per day. North Head: $5 per vehicle per day. Tap and pay card or phone payments accepted at pay machines. Coin payment available at Fairfax carpark machines only. Chowder Bay: Monday-Friday: $3 per hour, to a maximum of $16 per day. Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: $4 per hour, to a maximum of $20 per day. If you hold an NPWS All Parks or Multi Parks Pass, you can park free for up to four hours per day - additional time can be purchased. Car parks operated by Sydney Harbour Federation Trust or Mosman Council are not covered by your pass. Please check signs carefully. Park’nPay: You can also pay for your visit to any area via the Park’nPay app.
Other fees:
Landing fees or tour fees apply to visit Sydney Harbour islands. All public visitors to Shark, Clark or Rodd Island, need to pay a $7 per person landing fee. To arrange, please contact 1300 072 757 (13000 PARKS). Annual NSW Parks Passes do not cover landing fees.
