Closed areas: Areas closed due to bushfire recovery including Mumbulla Falls

Biamanga National Park Cultural Area and Mumbulla Creek Falls Cultural picnic area are closed until further notice due to substantial bushfire recovery works on walkways and viewing platforms.

Please follow Park signage and staff directives and do not attempt to access these areas. Penalties apply for non-compliance.

Safety alerts: Fire ban - Middle Beach campground

For visitor safety, campfires and solid fuel fires (wood, heat beads, charcoal, briquettes, hexamite) are not permitted at Middle Beach campground or picnic area.

The use of gas-fired, liquid fuel and electrical appliances will be permitted where:

  • The appliance is under the direct control of an adult
  • The appliance is placed or located in an area where there is no combustible material within 2m
  • There is an adequate water supply to extinguish fire, should it start next to the appliances
  • It is not a Total Fire Ban.
