Arakoon bushcare

The fragile coastal dune system of Arakoon National Park on the beautiful NSW Mid North Coast is under threat from invasive weeds such as bitou bush. By volunteering with the Arakoon bushcare group for just 2 hours a week, you can help stem the tide of invasive weeds like bitou bush and restore native dune habitat.

Cape Byron Lighthouse Friends

Looking for volunteer work with a view? If you’ve got a minimum of 3 hours a week to spare, come and be part of a friendly team at Cape Byron. Lead guided tours of the museum and lighthouse and share the area’s fascinating maritime history with visitors.

Coffs Harbour bushcare and landcare

Are you local to the Coffs Harbour area and interested in helping to protect and preserve this important stretch of NSW coastline? Volunteer to help regenerate the bush with one of 22 volunteer groups running in the Coffs Harbour area, all the way from Valla Beach to Arrawarra.

The historic ruins of Trial Bay Gaol, in Arakoon National Park on the NSW Mid North Coast, are a significant heritage area. Friends of Trial Bay Gaol invite you to volunteer to help in the protection and promotion of this amazing piece of local history, especially during the annual Sculpture in the Gaol.
