Ogilvies Creek picnic area is in the Khancoban area of Kosciuszko National Park, near Tooma Dam. It’s a scenic place to stop along the Khancoban to Kiandra drive for lunch by a mountain creek.

Ogilvies Creek picnic area is a great rest stop on the Cabramurra Road between Khancoban and Kiandra. Enjoy a picnic or stretch your legs as you explore central Kosciuszko National Park.

This area’s popular for summer fishing, walking and mountain biking. Take in the views along nearby Deep Creek fire trail, which starts 100m from the picnic area.

Visit during warmer months as road access is closed in winter, from June to October. Check with the visitor centre before you set out, as the road may be closed due to weather and road conditions.
