Overview

Mount Exmouth lookout is in Warrumbungle National Park along Mount Exmouth walking track. It’s a great place to enjoy stunning views of mountain peaks and the vast western plains.

The long hike to this 1206m summit of the Warrumbungle Range is well worth the effort. Perched among the summit’s tough mallee eucalypts and grass trees, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular 360 degree views.

On one side, soak up a remarkable vista of domes and spires—the Warrumbungle’s ancient volcanic landscape. On the other, gaze over the vast western plains stretching into the distance.
