Dangars Falls View lookout is in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park near Dangars Gorge campground. It’s a great way to see beautiful Dangars Falls, near Armidale.

A short walk from the campground and carpark, this lookout platform is the best viewpoint to capture Dangars Falls in all their glory. Looking across the ravine, you’ll see the falls plunge 120m into the gorge below. Once you’re done feasting your eyes, head to nearby Dangars Falls picnic are to enjoy a tasty lunch or snack.

  • There are 3 areas in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park where you'll need day use vehicle permits: Halls Peak campground and picnic area, Riverside campground and picnic area, and Youdales Hut campground and picnic area. Day use vehicle permits can be bought online or by calling the National Parks Contact Centre on 1300 072 757. If camping, permit fees are included in the campground fee.
