Overview

Cathedral Rock lookout is in Cathedral Rock National Park along Cathedral Rock track. Perched atop remarkable stacked boulders, it offers panoramic views of the surrounding tablelands.

The final stretch of Cathedral Rock track is a challenging rock-hop over boulders and crevices. But it’s well worth the effort to reach the summit of Cathedral Rock, where  boulder stacks form a stunning natural vantage point.

Take the time to pause at Cathedral Rock lookout and explore this rugged summit. Relax and refuel against a spectacular backdrop of boulders and soak up 360-degree views of the New England Tablelands. As you explore, keep an eye out for reptiles among the hardy heath plants and rock crevices.
