Bald Rock Trig lookout is in Bald Rock National Park along Bald Rock Summit walk. This summit point atop a massive exposed granite rock offers wonderful panoramic views.

Once you’ve climbed Bald Rock Summit walk and conquered the largest granite dome in the Southern Hemisphere, you’ll want to stop and enjoy some stunning vistas.

This 1277m vantage point offers sweeping views to the west across a boulder-strewn landscape to Queensland. To the east you’ll drink in views of NSW’s Richmond Range.

    Bald Rock Summit walk

    Bald Rock Summit walk is a challenging climb up the largest granite rock in Australia, with scenic views out across Bald Rock National Park, near Tenterfield.

These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.
