Overview

Apsley Main Falls lookout is in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park along Apsley Gorge Rim walking track. This is the closest lookout to the dramatic cascades of the upper Apsley Falls.

Also known as McMillan lookout, this waterfall viewpoint is close to Apsley Falls campground and Apsley Falls picnic area. The best time to visit Apsley Main Falls lookout is after heavy rains, when the falls are at their most spectacular and water cascading over the steep cliffs fills the air with mist.
