- These tours run in all weather. The rainforest is the place to be in the rain, so come prepared.
Bring the kids to enjoy a ranger-guided tour of seasonally varied discovery, learning and play in the World Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforest at Dorrigo National Park. Parents or carers are welcome to join in, or enjoy some solo time in the rainforest.
This activity includes:
- fun nature games
- guided sensory rainforest exploration
- learning and hands-on activities.
All materials are provided and may include viewing pots, magnifying glasses, binoculars, reference books, drawing materials and modelling clay.
The theme of the day can be:
- exploring the hidden world of fungi
- discovering the secret lives of reptiles
- finding and identifying insects
- or learning the language of birds.
This tour encourages kids to be curious and to appreciate our environment.
