Closed parks: Turon National Park closed due to high river levels
Turon National Park is closed until 12pm, Friday 16th December 2022 due to high river levels and flood damage to river crossings. This closure may be extended depending on weather conditions. Any extensions will be posted as soon as possible.
River crossings are impassable and dangerous to all vehicles. Campgrounds will reopen when the river has subsided to a safe level and river crossings have been repaired.
Remember, it’s never safe to drive, ride or walk through flood waters. Roads into and throughout the park are / may also be closed. Check Live Traffic NSW for up-to-date information and contact the Oberon NPWS office on 02 6336 6200.
