Other planned events: Notice of pig control program
Central Tablelands Local Land Services (CTLLS) and NPWS are running a pig control program in Hill End between 1 June – 30 June 2023. NPWS and CTLLS are working together to implement this pig trapping program to reduce the pig population.
Traps will be located in a number of discrete locations around the village, out of sight of roads and visitor areas. Do not interfere with traps as this will impact the effectiveness of the program. Trapped pigs may be aggressive and may injure themselves in traps if you approach them.
Stay away from traps.
