Join us for Living Country, living culture – a Stage 1 HSIE excursion in Mimosa Rocks National Park. An Aboriginal guide will help students understand the importance of culture and caring for Country.
Monday to Friday, between 10am and 1pm, during school term.
Sensing the rainforest is a Stage 1 (Years 1–2) school excursion in Iluka Nature Reserve, focusing on HSIE Geography outcomes. Ranger-guided activities encourage students to experience the rainforest environment using their senses.
This excursion experience has been updated and is now being delivered in line with the new NSW Department of Education Curriculum. We will be revising this excursion's name and information online soon. Contact your local national parks office for more information about the updated excursion.
