Did you know? NSW National Parks runs guided tours for kids and families to discover the hidden mysteries of our national parks. Explore our wonderful coastline on a sea creatures treasure hunt, become a waterbug detective, or join an Aboriginal Guide on a bush tucker workshop. Our WilderQuest events and tours are specially designed for kids aged 5 to 12 years, but there are heaps of exciting adventures for the whole family. Keep an eye on this page to see fun tours and activities in your region.

WilderQuest Little caves for little kids

All tours and events are closed due to the current fire situation. Re-opening dates will be confirmed after February 2020. Test your climbing, crawling and balancing skills on this Kosciuszko WilderQuest adventure! We'll explore some of Yarrangobilly's smaller wild caves, and the creek and forest between them.

WilderQuest Bug hunt: Yarrangobilly Caves

Junior Rangers: Essential bush skills

Want to know some tips that will help you thrive in the bush? Come to this school holiday event at Blackheath in Blue Mountains National Park. It's one of 5 Junior Ranger activities you can do in 2020.

Shh! What was that? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Join our national parks ranger, for an exciting expedition under the stars. We'll discover the amazing creatures of the night on this easy 1.5hr tour.
