Getting there and parking

Blue Mountains Heritage Centre Theatrette is in the Blackheath area of Blue Mountains National Park.

To get there from Sydney:

  • Turn right off Great Western Highway, at Blackheath traffic lights, into Govetts Leap Road.
  • Drive for 2.5km. After passing through the park entrance, take the second exit from the roundabout.

Parking

There is parking at Blue Mountains Heritage Centre, including several designated disabled spots. Bus parking is available.

For larger groups please discuss parking arrangements with the Heritage Centre when you book the theatrette.

Facilities

Theatrette hire inclusions:

  • Use of lights, heating and air conditioning
  • Large drop-down projection screen
  • Tables and chairs
  • Lectern
  • Video equipment and microphone

If you hire this venue, you will need to supply your own laptop.

Food and drink

  • You can order tea and coffee for $3.50 per person per day
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea can be organised by the Heritage Centre and delivered on the day of hire.
  • Plates and coffee cups are supplied if you order catering.

If you wish to provide your own lunch and morning tea, you will be responsible for cleaning up and removing all waste at the end of your event. There may be a $60 fee if excessive waste is left behind or if significant cleaning is required. Please recycle all rubbish where possible.

Outdoor area

There is an outdoor space that you can use if you hire the venue. Please discuss this with the Heritage Centre at the time of booking.

Balloons and plant materials are not permitted, including:

  • Decorations consisting of flowers or plant materials
  • Throwing rice or petals
  • Horse-drawn carriages

Amplified music is not permitted.
