Getting there and parking
As you enter Mutawintji National Park, pass by the visitor centre and continue along the road for approximately 2km. Homestead Creek picnic area is on your right. Homestead Gorge walking track leaves from the picnic area.

Best times to visit
Mutawintji National Park is best visited during autumn, winter and spring when daytime weather is pleasant. Summer in the outback can be very hot.
