Our volunteer activities are being assessed for risk on a case-by-case basis. We need to determine which activities can operate safely within COVID-19 guidelines. Would you like to welcome visitors to beautiful Warrumbungle National Park, near Coonabarabran? Volunteer at Warrumbungle Visitor Centre. Answer visitors’ questions before they set off to explore the park.

Half day (3hrs) and full day (6hrs) shifts throughout the year.

Volunteers will need to organise their own travel, and will not need to pay park entry fees when working a shift at the visitor centre.
If you’re great with people, come along and volunteer at Warrumbungle Visitor Centre. Meet and greet tourists in a safe environment. Explain the park’s activities and offer information about the nearby towns. Help us show off amazing Warrumbungle National Park and its attractions to visitors from around the world.
Your duties will include:
- Customer service
- Retail stocking and selling
- Assisting with exhibits and visitor education.
You’ll be working with like-minded people and engaging with your local and wider community. You'll also learn a lot about Warrumbungle National Park while you help promote it. You’ll always be working with one other person, so you’ll be able to swap notes and share the work.
