As the sun sets, explore the old Trial Bay Gaol in beautiful Arakoon National Park, with an NPWS guide by your side.

Easy. Suitable for all ages. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Adult $20 per person. Child $10 per person. Family $50 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Join this fascinating tour and discover what life was like for prisoners in solitary confinement and those who built the breakwall here. You'll also hear about the fate that met gaol escapees.Your guide will share some great stories about the villains and heroes who lived here (and the new inhabitants today). You'll learn about how German internees were treated during World War I. You won't forget the tale of 2 particular internees who have influenced our lives to this very day.

We'll climb the steep steps to the lookout tower and gaze over the bay and its wildlife at dusk.

Remember to wear closed shoes, a warm jacket and bring a small hand torch. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
