Enjoy a remote hike like no other in dramatic gorge country when you walk The Green Gully Track on a 6-day guided tour with Aussie Bike or Hike. You'll traverse 65km of high-elevation forests, deep gorges, and pristine creeks in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park.
Meet your experienced guide in Port Macquarie and drive in convoy to the track head. Rest in comfort on your first night in Cedar Creek cottage to prepare for the journey ahead. There’s no need to bring a tent as you'll stay in a series of refurbished heritage huts each night. These rustic huts have beds, water tanks, solar lighting and flush toilets.
Your guide will provide all meals for the trip which you'll carry as a group. Relax around the fire after a long day of hiking, enjoy a hearty camp meal and share stories as the sun goes down.
With your guide alongside there's no risk of losing the trail in this ever-changing scenery as you follow flowing creeks, bush tracks and fire trails. Explore fern-lined gullies and ascend towering rocky outcrops abundant with grass trees. Cool down in crystal-clear waters as you cross several refreshing mountain streams. Make sure you keep an eye out for local wildlife like the endangered brush-tailed rock wallabies.
