Discover the beauty of Wollemi National Park on a 2-hour immersive tour with Wirimbili Cultural Experience. Walk with an Aboriginal guide and explore the history and stories of the Dabee Wiradjuri people, traditional custodians of Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp.
This experience begins with a 'Welcome to Country' and smoking ceremony. You'll then follow an easy trail along the peaceful waterways of the Cudgegong River. You'll see tall scribbly gums and stunning pagoda rock formations.
Learn about Wiradjuri language, history, cultural traditions, bush food and natural medicines. Visit Aboriginal rock art sites and a pre-settlement scarred tree. You'll also get a close look at a display of traditional tools and artefacts.
This special place is home to abundant native plants and animals. Keep an eye out for wallabies, long-necked turtles and the elusive platypus. After your walk you can cool off with a swim in the pristine river or hire a canoe to explore the waterways.
