Discover a diverse array of birdlife on this epic birdwatching tour with Eagle-Eye Tours. You’ll visit Blue Mountains National Park, Cattai National Park, Gardens of Stone National Park and Wollemi National Park over 17 action-packed days.

The birding tour focuses on eastern Australia during the dry season. Travelling through mangroves, savannas and mature rainforest, you'll encounter extraordinary birds and unique mammals.

Your trip starts in Northern Queensland, where you’ll spend 10 days observing seabirds on cruises in the Great Barrier Reef and along the Daintree River. You’ll also visit Atherton Tablelands in search of the southern cassowary and Lamington National Park, home to the elusive Albert's lyrebird.

Then, transfer to Sydney to explore the national parks of New South Whales. You’ll visit the continental shelf to see more seabirds, followed by a visit to Barren Grounds for a chance to encounter the endangered eastern bristlebird. On the final days of the tour, you’ll explore the southern Blue Mountains, Capertee Valley and other fantastic surrounding bird sites.

The tour sets out from Cairns Airport, where you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. You'll be driven by the tour guide in a passenger van for the duration of the tour, which finishes in Sydney. For more information, visit the Eagle-Eye Tours website.
