Book your tickets and join us for a free NAIDOC week event at Audley in Royal National Park. This family friendly event will celebrate Aboriginal culture and heritage with a range of activities and presentations guided by NPWS staff and special guests.

Gather outside the Royal National Park Visitor Centre at Audley to start the day with an Acknowledgement of Country.

You'll then be guided through activities, workshops and presentations about this year's NAIDOC week theme which is 'The next generation: Strength, vision and legacy'.

Learn about local Aboriginal totems, artefacts, and bush tucker. Try your hand at traditional weaving. Hear stories from our team about working in national parks and the unique native plants and animals of the area. Our special guests Aunty Sugar and Aunty Calita Murray will talk about their experiences and deep connection to Country.

You can grab a bite to eat at Audley Dance Hall cafe or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy. Visit the Royal National Park Visitor Centre for local information or a special gift. If you'd like to explore further, why not hire a kayak from Audley boatshed and spend an afternoon on the water.
