Content

Students learn about:

  • what bushfires are, and when and where they occur (including factors affecting frequency and intensity)
  • the impacts of bushfires on people and the natural environment
  • who manages bushfires and how they do this
  • bushfire recovery and ways to reduce the impacts of bushfires in the future
  • the 2019-2020 NSW bushfire season as a case study.
