Bushfires in NSW is a Stage 3 teacher resource aligned to learning outcomes and course content in the NSW Geography and Science and Technology syllabuses.

Student outcomes	GE3-2. Explains interactions and connections between people, places and environments GE3-3. Compares and contrasts influences on the management of places and environments GE3-4. Acquires, processes and communicates geographical information using geographical tools for inquiry ST3-4LW-S. Examines how the environment affects the growth, survival and adaptation of living things
Content	Students learn about: what bushfires are, and when and where they occur (including factors affecting frequency and intensity) the impacts of bushfires on people and the natural environment who manages bushfires and how they do this bushfire recovery and ways to reduce the impacts of bushfires in the future the 2019-2020 NSW bushfire season as a case study.
