Volunteering as a tour guide or to assist with visitor services at one of our visitor centres can be a rewarding experience, both personally and for the visitors you'll welcome. You'll connect with them to share the beauty and importance of our national parks.
Your role will contribute to visitor experiences, and may include:
- Warmly greeting and assisting visitors
- Leading or supporting engaging guided tours
- Immersing visitors in local history and heritage
- Contributing to the preservation and revitalisation of historic sites
- Overseeing museum exhibits.
Whether you prefer regular commitments or occasional volunteering during weekends, school holidays or special events, we have opportunities to suit your availability. We provide comprehensive support, including first aid training, guiding resources and a uniform.
Join us in making a difference! Check out our tour guiding and visitor experience volunteering opportunities. We look forward to welcoming you to our volunteer team.
