Saving our Species Iconic Koala Project

The NSW Government has an ambitious goal of securing threatened species in the wild for the next 100 years. As part of the NSW Koala Strategy, the Saving our Species Iconic Koala Project is delivering local conservation actions to secure koalas through:

  • Reducing critical threats to the species
  • Ensuring adequate protection, management and restoration of koala habitat
  • Maintaining healthy breeding populations of koalas throughout their current range

Project details will be regularly updated on the SoS database as a public register of actions and investments.
