Are you a sculptor? Why not enter your work in the 9th annual Sculpture in the gaol exhibition? It's a highly popular annual exhibition at Trial Bay Gaol, and there's a $5000 prize pool for artists.

Exhibition open Sunday 6 August to Saturday 2 September 2017, 9am – 4.30pm daily

Opening day (gala event) entry: $2 per person. Remainder of exhibition: Adult $11 per person. Concession $8 per person. Family $30 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Sculpture in the gaol attracts over 5000 visitors to Trial Bay Gaol each year. It's a fantastic opportunity for artists to reach a broad audience. This year, NPWS is partnering with the South West Rocks Chamber of Commerce in presenting this very popular exhibition.

If you're interested in entering a sculpture, here are a few key points:

  • The Sculpture in the gaol exhibition is on from Sunday 6 August to Saturday 2 September 2017. It's held at Trial Bay Gaol in South West Rocks.
  • Submissions for the exhibition and competition categories close Friday 16 June 2017.
  • Entry to the competition is free.
  • There's a $5,000 prize pool.
  • Competition winners are chosen by public vote.
  • Sculptures will also be displayed along The Escapee Trail, a walking route passing South West Rocks participating businesses. These artworks will be available for sale.
