Coastal and catchment management

Coastal and catchment management is a school excursion in Tomaree National Park for Stage 5 (Years 9-10) students focusing on geography as a KLA. We'll walk to the summit of Mount Tomaree with a Discovery ranger, who will highlight the coastal and catchment management issues involved in protecting a relatively undisturbed patch of coastal land in close proximity to the township of Nelson Bay.

Exploring the rainforest

Explore the diverse rainforest environment of Booti Booti National Park on a geography school excursion for Stage 2 (Years 3-4) students. You’ll go on a guided rainforest walk, collect field data and participate in a bug survey.
