Join The Fly Program for a unique experience in the NSW Snowy Mountains. Choose from multi-day mental fitness retreats or fly fishing tours.

Experience the therapeutic benefits of nature on a mental fitness retreat designed to support adult males. Activities include fly fishing, mountain biking, cold water therapy and other hands-on mountain experiences. The retreats are hosted regularly throughout the year. 

The Fly Program also hosts regular fly fishing tours. Learn from their expert guides while discovering the beauty of Kosciuszko National Park. Experiences range from 2hr casting sessions to full-day wilderness fly fishing experiences. All funds from these tours go towards supporting the charity’s community programs.

The Fly Program is a licensed commercial tour operator with a Parks Eco Pass.

    Kosciuszko National Park is open all year but at times some roads and trails close due to weather conditions or park management issues. For details, click the local alerts or contact the park's visitor centres.

  • Park entry fees:

    Winter peak From Friday June long weekend to Monday October long weekend: $29 per vehicle per day (24hrs); motorcycles $12; bus passengers $11.45 per adult, $3.60 per child per day (24hrs). Find out more about the Winter entry surcharge.

    Rest of the year From Tuesday after October long weekend to Thursday before June long weekend: $17 per vehicle per day (24hrs); motorcycles $7; bus passengers $6.60 per adult, $2.20 per child per day (24hrs).

    Yarrangobilly Caves (year-round) $4 per vehicle per day, unless general park entry has been paid.

    Passes: Single and Multi-Day passes available from entry stations, NPWS visitor centres and pay machines. For Thredbo-Perisher area, Khancoban area and Selwyn area, Single and Multi-Day passes are also available via the Park'nPay app.

    Annual Passes available for purchase online or at NPWS visitor centres. Short Breaks Pass: $68 for 5 days at price of 4 days (not valid winter) is available at local NPWS visitor centres and entry stations on Alpine Way and Kosciuszko Rd.
