You’ll be volunteering in the Upper Blue Mountains, in a state conservation area that links Wollemi National Park, Blue Mountains National Park and Gardens of Stone National Park. It’s a place rich in important cultural heritage and ancient sandstone pagodas. It’s home to expansive eucalypt forests and diverse threatened species and ecological communities.

The work involves bush regeneration, rubbish removal and weed management. You’ll help NSW National Parks protect threatened species and vegetation communities, including upland swamps and the Blue Mountains water skink.

All tools and training are provided, and you’ll learn great new skills working in the fresh air. Come along and volunteer with like-minded people who care for the area and want to assist in its recovery. Experience in weed control and an AQF3 ChemCert are essential for weed control work.
