Overview

Point Upright lookout is on the Burrawang walk near Depot Beach campground and cabins. Enjoy views south towards North and South Durras including Durras Lake.

Be rewarded after climbing from Depot Beach along the Burrawang walk to Point Upright where there is a platform with views down the coast towards Mill Point and the beaches of North and South Durras.

From the lookout you can see Durras Lake and whether this is open to the sea or closed allowing an easy walk along the beach all the way to Murramarang Beachfront Resort.

    Depot Beach picnic area

    Depot Beach cabins

    Depot Beach cabins are set between spotted blue gumtrees and the golden sands of Depot Beach, offering either forest or water views, barbecues and all amenities.

These maps give a basic overview of park attractions and facilities, and may not be detailed enough for some activities. We recommend that you buy a topographic map before you go exploring.

  • Murramarang National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

  • Park entry fees:

    $8 per vehicle per day. The park has pay machines - cash and credit cards accepted. Card only at Pretty Beach.

    Buy annual pass
