Formed track: The walk is a 2m-4.5m wide track that's a mixture of sand, clay and natural earth.

Other barriers

Gates: There's a locked vehicle gate at the Bluff trail trackhead, as you turn onto Bluff trail from Tuckers Rocks Road. There's space around the gate for pedestrians, but it's not wide enough for prams, wheelchairs or mobility scooters.

Pinch points: There may be points where the track narrows due to tree roots, plants, rocks.

    Bluff loop walking track is in the Tuckers Rocks area of Bongil Bongil National Park. To get there:

    • From Old Pacific Highway at Repton, turn east onto Perrys Road.
    • Continue on Perrys Road, which becomes Tuckers Rock Road, leading through the national park.
    • When you see Tuckers Rocks Cottage on your right, park at the Tuckers Rocks carpark.
    • Bluff loop track starts at the locked gate, just north of the cottage.

    Please note that Rutile trail does not provide access to Mylsetom from Tuckers Rock Road. This road is a dead end that runs into a 2m deep swamp.

    Parking

    Parking is available on a hard-packed ground carpark near the Bluff loop trackhead. There's also parking at Tuckers Rocks carpark, a short 100m walk from the trackhead. 

    It can be a busy place on the weekend, so parking might be limited.

    There are parts of the track that wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility may find difficult to navigate:

    • There's a locked vehicle gate at the Bluff trail trackhead, as you turn onto Bluff trail from Tuckers Rocks Road. There's space around the gate for pedestrians, but it's not wide enough for prams, wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
    • There's a steep, natural earth hill along the track. it can be slippery after rain.
    • There are points where the track narrows due to rocks, tree roots and plants.
