Overview

Dharawal State Conservation Area was created in April 1996. It covers an area of 72ha. View the detailed park and fire management documents.

This park was created in April 1996. The great majority of the state conservation area became Dharawal National Park on 26 March 2012. The remaining three small areas comprising Dharawal State Conservation Area were retained to allow existing coal mining operations to continue, and have a total area of 71 hectares.

Planning for the future

The community is invited to have a say on the future of Dharawal State Conservation Area by commenting on the Draft Plan of Management before 24 January 2022.
