Mullian lookout
Bouddi National Park
Overview
Enjoy panoramic views of the Central Coast from Mullian lookout. Positioned at the end of Mount Bouddi walking track, it’s a great spot to scan the horizon.
Mullian lookout is located along Bouddi coastal walk, near the junction of Mount Bouddi walking track. A short 10m walk down a few sandstone steps will bring you to an elevated timber platform.
To the south you’ll see a series of headlands jutting out into the sea, including Bouddi Point, Gerrin Point and Box Head. In the far distance is Lion Island and the entrance to Broken Bay.
Mullian means ‘eagle’ in the local Aboriginal language. Make sure you look up to search for the resident white-bellied sea eagle, as it soars overhead.
If you’re in a hurry or prefer a shorter walk, you can travel directly to Mullian lookout from Dingeldei picnic area via Mount Bouddi walking track. It’s only 1.2km one way, and generally a walk down to the lookout with a few steps.
