Ebor Falls has had a major transformative upgrade following significant damage caused by the 2019/2020 bushfires.
Come along to the official re-opening of Ebor Falls and explore the wonderful new facilities.
The day includes:
- 11.15am: Smoking ceremony
- 11.30am: Speeches
- 12pm: Ribbon cutting
- 12.10pm: Tour 1 begins (Upper Falls to Lower Falls for sausage sizzle and coffee).
- 12.20pm: Tour 2 begins
- 12.30pm: Lunch at Lower Falls
- 1pm: Event concludes.
The Upper Falls precinct has been upgraded to include:
- New wheelchair-accessible pathways
- 2 new viewing platforms with an expanded carpark and long-vehicle access.
- New amenities including flush toilets
- Dedicated picnic facilities with 3 new picnic shelters and a gas barbecue.
Amongst the exciting new upgrades are 2 new lookouts, picnic shelters and amenities at the Lower Falls precinct.
The concrete pathway between the upper and lower precincts has also been upgraded, and Ebor Falls Road has received a reseal to cater for the increased visitation expected.
