Some parts of this Park are closed from the afternoon of Monday 6 until Friday 17 May (inclusive) 2024 while Pincham walking track is being maintained. The closed areas are:

  • Goulds Circuit (including Macha and Febar Tor)
  • Spirey View
  • Hurleys Camp
  • The section of Pincham track between Balor Hut and West Spirey Creek walking track junction

Balor Hut and the western face of The Breadknife may still be accessed via Dagda Shortcut Track. 

This closure may be extended or shortened as necessary, any updates will be posted as soon as possible.

Closed areas: Section of Pincham trail to Grand High Tops closed due to rock fall hazard

The Breadknife walk (Pincham trail between Dagda shortcut turnoff and the Grand High Tops summit) is closed until further notice due to rock fall hazard. Do not enter the area.

Detour to Grand High Tops summit is via Dagda shortcut. Penalties apply for non-compliance. For more information contact the Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Center on 02 6825 4364.

Closed areas: Full road closure in campgrounds

The road between the Warrumbungle Visitor Centre and Camp Blackman will be closed between 11:00AM - 2:00PM on Sunday 5 May 2024. These closures will affect between the junction to Canyon Picnic area and the Environmental Education Centre. There will be zero access between this time.
