This park was created in March 1999 and covers an area of 72 hectares. This small reserve forms part of a group of national parks, nature reserves and state conservation areas located along the southern section of the Richmond Range.
The reserve is five kilometres west of Banyabba Nature Reserve and adjoins timbered freehold land on all sides.
