Closed areas: Yanda track closed due to wet road conditions

Yanda track in Gundabooka National Park is closed due to wet road conditions. The closure remains in place until further notice.

Other planned events: 1080 wild dog and fox baiting program

Ground baits containing ACTA 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate) will be laid along various tracks and trails within Gundabooka National Park and Gundabooka State Conservation Area from Thursday 10 September to Friday 9 October 2020 to control wild dog and fox populations.

1080 is poisonous to humans if swallowed and harmful if absorbed by the skin or inhaled. If poisoning occurs, contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26. For further information please contact the NPWS Bourke area office on 02 6830 0200.
