Join a NPWS ranger for an unforgettable whale watching experience from the beautiful shoreline of Tomaree National Park. More than 35 000 whales make their annual journey along Australia's eastern coast.

Keep your eyes peeled for fin-slapping and breaching whales from the many vantage points on this walk. Your experienced guide will give you some helpful tips for successfully spotting and identifying these majestic ocean giants.

When you're not scanning the horizon for humpback and southern right whales, you can relish in the beauty of the rugged coastal landscape.

Don't forget to bring your binoculars for whale watching. Please be prepared for all types of weather as the conditions in this area can be unpredictable and extreme.
