Did you know that lots of insects start life as a waterbug? But then they turn into something else, like a dragonfly, when they come out of the water.
On this adventure, we'll walk 570m and use a dip net to search for waterbugs in the Kangaroo River. You'll get to see what they look like under a magnifying glass. We'll learn about where waterbugs live, what they eat and what they become when they 'grow up'.
Wear sensible shoes and clothing. Pack an after-activity change of clothes because you might get wet. Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, drinking water and a snack.
