Join an experienced Nationals Parks and Wildlife Services guide on this 4 hour walk through the spectacular Garigal National Park.
Starting at Lindfield Station, you’ll walk a few blocks until you reach the entrance of the park. Step into the dappled sunlight in a rainforest gully where you’ll see Depression era stonework and paths.
Walking on a fire trail, we’ll weave along beside Gordon Creek through woodlands and past rock formations. Next, we’ll follow a short path to see views of the junction with Middle Harbour Creek. We’ll stop in the beautiful spot for morning tea.
We’ll then follow the track along the foreshore until we reach a magical inlet with a sandstone overhang and more Depression age stonework. Then it will be time to head back to the railway station.
Bring at least 2 litres of drinking water, lunch and snacks. It's a good idea to wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat, rain gear, sunscreen, insect protection and emergency contact information.
