Want to go on an adventure these school holidays? This guided tour is the perfect opportunity to get outdoors and learn about the swift parrot and its habitat in Wyyrabalong National Park.
Follow your experienced National Parks and Wildlife Services guide through the coastal forest. You’ll wander along the sandy Red Gum trail and lush Wetland trail. Keep your eyes peeled for the bright green colours of the swift parrot flying through the vegetation.
Join your fellow adventurers and play a game of swift parrot habitat bingo. This is a fun way to learn about how this special ecosystem works.
If you have your own binoculars, please bring them along for bird spotting. Don’t forget to bring drinking water and snacks. It's a good idea to wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat, rain gear, sunscreen, and insect protection.
