This guided Illawarra walking tour takes you through the region’s most striking natural areas, including the Illawarra Escarpment and Dharawal National Park. It includes convenient pick-up and drop-off between Thirroul and Wollongong for private groups of up to 5 people.
The day combines scenic coastal views with guided walks through bushland and rainforest. You’ll travel along the coastline with views of the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge, then visit awestriking lookouts like Bald Hill lookout and Maddens Falls.
Spot tiny fairy wrens fliting through the foliage as you walk through the towering gumtrees of Mount Mitchell on a 5km return walk. The trail can be uneven, with steps and some steep sections. Some bushwalking experience is recommended.
