Starting from the Fitzroy Falls picnic area, this guided experience leads you along an easy track and elevated boardwalk to dramatic escarpment lookouts. Fitzroy Falls plunges more than 80 metres into the valley below, framed by towering cliffs and lush forest.

As you explore, your guide will share stories of the plants, wildlife and unique ecosystems that thrive in this landscape. You’ll also gain some insight into the Aboriginal history and connection to Country associated with the area. Keep an eye out for native birds and discover how this environment has formed and changed over time.

This scenic walk is a great way to experience the power and beauty of Fitzroy Falls and gain a deeper understanding of the natural world.

  • Morton National Park is always open but may have to close at times due to poor weather or fire danger.

    Parts of the south-eastern area of this park were once used for military training and may contain unexploded artillery shells. These areas have restrictions in place for your safety.

  • Park entry fees: 

    Fitzroy Falls: $4 per vehicle per day. Bundanoon area: $8 per vehicle per day. The park has pay machines - cash and cards accepted.
