Starting at Yarrangobilly Caves, you'll experience a traditional Aboriginal smoking ceremony. For many hundreds of generations, the Wolgalu Aboriginal people have gathered food here and told stories about this spiritual landscape. They've been connected to country and their traditional practices and customs. Your guide will introduce you to this rich cultural heritage.

The high mountain plains of Kosciuszko National Park also have a strong gold mining, cattle grazing and conservation heritage. You'll explore sites that tell of the arrival of Europeans and cattle grazing. You'll find out about the history of gold fever in this area. It made some people rich and others poor, and the good, the bad and the ugly flocked to the high plains. It was a wild time in the mountains.

Enjoy this one-of-a-kind combined Aboriginal cultural and pioneering heritage tour in northern Kosciuszko National Park. Discover some amazing landscapes and their stories on this fully guided journey.
